Mechanical engineering design services for a three-story tenant improvement project involving 94,000 square feet in the new Fifth and Bell Building, a low-rise building located in Belltown. This new environmental lab, office and manufacturing facility produces portable automatic external defibrillators. Facility areas consist of light assembly manufacturing and shipping areas with antistatic requirements, product engineering spaces with model shop and environmental lab, large meeting/lunch room, and corporate support administrative areas. Involved review of three potential sites, programming, and development of mechanical system design criteria for heating, cooling, plumbing, fire protection and temperature controls.
