This 77,000 sq. ft. undergraduate education center houses humanities, social sciences and communication programs as well as the University of North Puget Sound. The tech-savvy learning environment embraces wireless access, multi-media instruction and video conferencing.

Sustainable mechanical design strategies included natural ventilation in the office wing, carbon dioxide sensors and variable frequency drives on fans to satisfy demand-based ventilation, high-efficiency condensing boilers, low-flow fixtures and electronic sensor faucets. The building achieved a LEED silver rating.
