Notkin's recent public clients include the US Navy, US Coast Guard, US General Services Administration, City of Seattle, Port of Seattle, and King County. Open-end contracts range from facility assessments, life cycle cost analyses, retrofits and upgrades. Engineers are familiar with public project expectations relative to budgets, schedules and design quality, as well as requirements for meeting quick turn-around projects on open-end contracts. Engineers are also experienced with owner-occupied buildings and understand the need to maintain a building's functions with as little impact on day-to-day operations.
