The new 45,000 sq. ft. civic center contains city offices, council chambers, police, emergency operations center, and public use areas. An underground garage complements site parking. The facility is situated within a 30-acre park containing trails, play areas, skateboard park, and public plaza, intended to serve as a gathering place for the community.

The facility achieved LEED Silver certification. This is the first project to earn a LEED “Innovation in Design” point for the use of UVC germicidal lights in air handlers, providing IAQ, energy and coil-cleaning benefits.
